Statue of Liberty & Ellis Island Immigration Museum

United Nations

Central Park

A favorite respite of visitors and natives alike, Central Park is the perfect place for a stroll any day of the year. Also offers boat rentals, organized sports, and programs year round. 59th-110th Sts., between 5th Ave. & Central Park West.

Madison Square Garden

Radio City Music Hall & The Stage Door Tour

Brooklyn Bridge

An engineering wonder when it was built in 1883, this bridge is still remarkable today. No, it’s not for sale. 4,5,6 trains to Brooklyn Bridge.

Grand Central Terminal

One of the city’s great beaux-arts archcitectural landmarks. Shopping and dining concourses and a gourmet marketplace make it a destination unto itself. Visit the information booth for historical walking tours and special events. Park Av at 42nd St. Take 4,5,6,7,S trains to Grand Central/42nd.

Site of the World Trade Center

The former site of the World Trade Center is still one of the city's most popular tourist destinations in the city. Walk the perimeter in your town of Downtown. Take the E train to the World Trade Center stop or N,R trains to Cortlandt Street.

Wall Street

Named for the wall that kept enemies out of Manhattan, Wall Street is now the heart of New York’s down-town Financial District. Site of the New York Stock Exchange. Take 1,2, 4 or 5 trains to Wall St.

South Street Seaport

One of the oldest examples of the city’s maritime past. Located on the East River near Pier 17, the Seaport boasts a bounty of shops, cafes & restaurants. Take any train to Fulton-Nassau.

Chrysler Building

405 Lexington at 42nd St. This chrome-domed 77-story deco masterpiece once vied with the Empire State for tallest building in New York. Note: there’s no observation deck, so take your pictures from street level.

Flatiron Building

Once the world's tallest building in 1903, the still-impressive super-triangular Flatiron building sits at 23rd Street and 5th Avenue. Take N, R to 23rd Street.

Apollo Theater

Harlem’s legendary performance venue for major acts and countless hopeful amateurs. 253 W. 125th Street between Adam Clayton Powell Blvd. and Frederick Douglass Blvd. 212-531-5305. Take A,B,C,D,2,3 trains to 125th Street.
