Locating cross streets in New York might seem daunting but once you get used to it, finding your way around the city shouldn,t be a problem.
To find the approximate cross street, the building number has to be divided by 20 (there are a few special cases mentioned below); then add (or subtract) the magic number from the table. For example, 660 Madison Avenue would be 660/20=33 plus the Madison Avenue index from the table below (+27), 33+27=60th Street.
